What services do you offer? I offer a range of services for fashion founders and clothing brands at every stage of their journey. On the design side I offer freelance fashion design including collection CADs, tech packs, branding and identity, print, graphics and surface pattern design. On the mentoring side I offer 1:1 sessions (Deep Dives and Power Hours), the Fashion Startup Academy which is my flagship six-month programme, and Manufacture Made Simple, a self-paced online course for founders ready to start working with factories. Do you work with complete beginners or do I need industry experience? I work with complete beginners all the time, in fact most of my clients come to me with no fashion industry experience whatsoever. That's exactly why I'm here. Whether you need design support, tech packs, manufacturing guidance, or mentoring through the whole journey from idea to launch, you don't need any prior knowledge to get started. I'll meet you exactly where you are and guide you from there.
Can you help with both design and mentoring, or is it one or the other? Both - and many clients use a combination of my services depending on what they need at different stages. For example, a founder might start with a Deep Dive mentoring session to get clarity on their brand direction, then move into design and tech pack work, and then use Power Hours to navigate the manufacturing and sampling stage. Or an established brand might come to me purely for design support without needing any mentoring at all. Everything is flexible and tailored to where you are and what you need.
How much do your services cost? It depends on which service you need. Here's a quick overview: Free - the Fashion Startup Launchplan, podcast and blog are all free. Deep Dive Session - £300 for a 2-hour strategic mentoring session. Power Hours - £150 per hour for focused 1:1 mentoring. Tech packs and design - priced based on the scope of your project. Do you work with established brands as well as startups? Yes - my clients range from first-time founders with just an idea, all the way to established clothing brands looking for professional freelance design support or expert guidance at a specific stage of growth. For established brands I typically work as a plug-and-play freelance designer who can slot into your existing process, picking up your design handwriting, delivering tech packs to the standard your production team expects, and providing expert input when you need it without the overheads of a full-time hire.
Where are you based and do you work remotely? I'm based in the UK and work entirely remotely via Zoom and email. This means I work with fashion founders and brands across the UK, Europe, the US, Australia and beyond so location is never a barrier. All design work, tech packs, mentoring sessions and consultancy are delivered digitally, so wherever you are in the world we can work together.
